Diaper Deal or Ordeal
Ive decided its time for little Zachary to kick the diapers and move up to big boy underwear. He will be 2 on June 1st and frankly, we need the extra $80 bucks a month to pay for gas!! With gas prices up 65 cents more than this time last year, the cost of food and household products steadily increasing, and the housing market/credit crunch without recovery insight, my toddler is going to have to pick up the slack and trade in his Winnie the Pooh Hug... Distraction Infraction
We busy moms are multitaskers by nature, born with the innate ability to do 50 things at once. This is great when it is necessary to feed the cat, refill the milk, change a diaper, redo a ponytail, check the weather, pack tomorrow's lunches, break up an argument, kiss a booboo and get dinner on the table all at once! Pain in the neck
Here on this lovely Thursday afternoon, I am laid out horizontally on an ice pack offering up some words of advice on lifting children. - Lift with your legs, not your back, bending your knees and hips (not bending your waist) -Lift the child from directly infront of you, avoiding the "twist and lift."
